Why not start your tour at the northernmost part of the island, the Lister harbour. The harbour offers countless restaurants and a lovely view of yachts and lifeboats. Closeby information centre offers insights about coastal protection, climate change, elemental forces and the North Sea.
There is also a small zoo, Tierpark Tinnum. In the Eastern part of the island, visitors can discover a varied and interesting flora and fauna.
Visitors can also enjoy an adventurous boat trip on the North Sea or discover the timeless beauty of the Wadden Sea during a walk. Walks in the Wadden Sea can be started from different points in the island but should be undertaken with an experienced guide.
