The Forestmuseum is situated on top of the \u201aWulffsboom\u2019, which is 66 metres high. The panorama platform on top is 21 metres high and allows a wonderful view over Dithmarschen and the Elbe estuary.<\/p>\n
In the museum you can discover the native flora and fauna. The exhibition shows animals and plants in their natural habitat. It is an immersive experience: Visitors can hear the birds tweeting, frogs croaking and, if you are very quiet, the gnawing of beetles in the wood.<\/p>\n
The Museum also has an educational forest path and many other interesting exhibits. The Forest Path is a 2km long loop and aims to explain the local fauna to visitors. The centerpieces of the park are the unique historic plantations of local fauna.<\/p>\n
