In a nationwide unique setup, visitors can observe the common seal and the grey seal living in a shared enclosure on land and water.<\/p>\n
Five common seals and two grey seals live in a seawater enclosure of 800 m\u00b2. They cannot return to the wild for a variety of reasons.<\/p>\n
The species of seals is divided into three families:<\/strong><\/p>\n The seal centre Friedrichskoop is he only authorised centre in Schleswig-Holstein to take on abandoned or diseased seals.
