Since April 2015, the holiday home\/apartments have been upgraded with a new grill-sauna-Kota.<\/p>\n

In Winter or Summer or by rain or snow, a true experience.<\/p>\n

The barbecue area has a surface of about 9 square meters and has seats for 8 people on the outer sides. In the middle of the room, there is a barbecue area where you can grill with beech or oak. Small tables are also found in the barbecue area and can be used as a storage area.<\/p>\n

\"Ferienhaus<\/p>\n

The grill-sauna-kota is our alternative to outdoor grilling, because here you can truly grill steaks year-round, regardless of the weather. In order to achieve an ideal smoky flavor, we recommend to only use beech or oak wood when grilling. We\u2019ve found the use of pine or other conifers leaves a resinous taste that makes it difficult to truly enjoy the food.<\/p>\n

In the rear section of the barbecue area, there is a separate sauna that is heated by wood. Here you can burn all types of wood since the wood burning stove is closed. The sauna has room for up 8 people and prohibits the wearing of shoes within it, for safety and hygienic reasons. It is also recommended to cover the floor area with a towel.<\/p>\n

The medical effects<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Going to the sauna can be especially helpful with building up resilience to the cold\/flu and can also be used in a therapeutic application against various other diseases. However, due to the lack of conclusive medical studies, these type of claims aren\u2019t entirely substantiated.<\/p>\n

By increasing one\u2019s body temperature up to 39\u00a0\u00b0C, the same temperature usually found in fevers, the levels of activity within the immune system are also increased.<\/p>\n

The sequence of heat followed by a cold bath relaxes the muscles and in addition to having a physiological effect, it gives a quick increase in blood pressure and stimulates blood circulation and metabolism.<\/p>\n

Sauna bathing is also great for skin care, with both men and women, and slows down skin aging. Your skin reacts instantly after entering the heated sauna room. The blood vessels dilate, circulation increases, and the surface temperature of the skin rises after around 12 minutes in the sauna at about 40\u00a0\u00b0C (104 \u00b0F). Through the following cooling process, the blood vessels constrict once again. This is commonly referred to as vascular training.<\/p>\n

The sweating process and repeated water application also brings a thorough yet gentle body cleanse. The uppermost skin layer swells and the used\/stretched skin cells become loose, thus making them easier to wash away. For very dry skin, the skin texture is improved by activating the sweat glands and water retention in the skin layer.<\/p>\n

People with inflammation, acute infectious diseases, cardiovascular disease, venous thrombosis, or varicose veins are generally discouraged from visiting the sauna. If necessary, the elderly should consult with their family doctors.<\/p>\n
